And So Begins Start-Up Watch – Company of the Day

Today begins a new experiment. Ordinarily this blog is active for just a few weeks a year, during the ad:tech NY and ad:tech SF events. But starting today, I am going to be posting a “Start-up Watch - Company of the Day” feature here.

Each morning one cool/interesting digital company that digital marketers can leverage to build their businesses will get a profile on this site.  Two today because it's the first day and I was kind of excited. ;-)

The goal is to help marketers and marketer-supported start-ups connect with each other and do business. Companies that aren't at the stage where they can afford big marketing campaigns.

It’s incredibly difficult for any company, but especially start-ups, to get noticed by marketing and media buyers. I was doing a “Company of the Day” feature on my personal blog, Oldest Living Digital Marketer Tells All to help good ideas get publicity, and iMediaConnection has very kindly offered to have me move the content here.

I hope to find really intriguing new ideas to showcase to our marketing and media buyer audience here so as to help foster business for digital innovation.
